COGA Elections 2013

Elections were held at the Auditorium of the Ghana Embassy in Washington DC on Saturday, January 12, 2013 by the Council of Ghanaian Associations (COGA) of the Washington Metropolitan Area.

The elections were supervised by Mr. Gil Jones-Quartey as the Electoral Commissioner. He was assisted by two officials from the Ghana Embassy, Mr. Kwadwo Boateng and Mrs. Vannesa Adu-Mensah.

The following officers were elected to steer the affairs of the Council for the next two years.

1. Chairman: Mrs Margaret Tabiri
2. Vice-Chairman: Mr. Henry Adu
3. Secretary: Mr. Francis Addae
4. Treasurer: Mr. Julius Caesar
5. Public Relations Officer: Mrs. Rowina Moses-Wadie
6. Asst. Secretary: Mrs. Alberta Stephens-Arku
7. Asst. Treasurer: Mr. Yaw Oteng-Agipong
